I can hear it in your voice
Saturday, September 18, 2010 ( 11:13 am )

I can hear it in your voice.
It's shivering;
You're telling a white lie.
Then there's too much confidence in your voice;
You're telling a lie, convincing me to believe your sweet, shitty words.
Don't say things you don't mean, for you haven't a clue how much it can hurt another.
Don't be too sure of yourself, for you haven't a clue of what the future awaits.
No promises. PLEASE. And this goes out to everyone.

But this person.
You tell me things I'm scared to hear, for I do not know how true it is.
But somehow, I like it.
I can hear it in you're voice; it's sincerity.
I can see it in you're eyes; it's honesty.
I can feel it in the atmosphere; it's real.
You're real.
And you know who you are.

One door closes, another opens. My heart breaks, and it's back together again. Allah takes something great from you, He gives you something greater. How I am so thankful to be loved and blessed by Him.

losing equals to gaining

First thing's first, my dearest grandmother from Muar, Johor passed away two days ago.
Al-Fatihah to Arwah Eshah Othman.

1921-2010

You know, this is when I learn that when we lose something, or someone, or anything, we'll somehow gain something new. If you say it's a form of replacement, then I guess you could put it that way. But I've never like the word "replace". To me, the most precious things in life are irreplaceable. That includes memories and life experience. That also includes, the good and the bad. Do I know what I am saying here? Yes, I do. I lost a dear grandmother two days ago. But I then gain the strength to overcome loss. I've lost love. But now I've met even more better people who care about me. I don't dare to ask for more, for I am just a human, still learning the meaning of life. According to Bapak, life is about reactions. It's how you react to the surroundings, how you react to the happenings in life is what matters. It's the art of reaction that makes you, YOU. React and respond the right way, and you'll be on the right path. Enough said. Til then. Smile, cz you'll never know who likes it :)
